MEETING 6 (ASKING AND FOR GIVING OPINIONS)


Topic : Asking  for and giving opinions
Diaz         : Good morning, everyone! Thank you for coming here. In today’s meeting, we’re gonna discuss to boost our customer service as a beauty salon. First, I’d like to hear if anyone has idea for increasing our customer service quality?
Olive        : I think, we need to provide varieties of products from many brands with different usage.
Diaz         : What is the purpose of your idea?
Olive        : As our business grow bigger and larger, we need to keep up our game in satisfying customers. By increasing product variations, customers could choose what they desire or need. Some people might even have brands that they trust, so we could fulfil what they want.
Ayna        : But, what if the customers couldn’t choose the right treatment for themselves?
Diaz         : Right, we should think about that too.
Ayna        : In my opinion, hiring beauty experts is also a must. Customers come with various problems. It might be about their hair, facial skin, or body. Hair and skin with different types and different conditions need different treatments too.
Olive        : It costs much money to do that. Stocking products from various brands will be much cheaper as long as we find the right supplier.
Ayna        : We should consider the fact that many customers have no idea how to choose the right products and even get lost with various products we provide. For that, we need to hire some beauty experts who can consult the customers to customise their needs. Hair and skin are complex things, we don’t want the staffs to mistreat customers’ hair or skin. Do You agree with me, Laras?
Laras        : I don’t agree with you. From my point of view, if we offer many products, we could sell it without having treatment. It might be more advantageous for our business.
Diaz         : Still, hiring beauty experts is quite important.
Laras        : We have more than enough staffs that are experienced. If we have various products, customers have more choices and we could also make beauty packages for them to choose.
Gita          : What if the staffs make mistakes in treating customers and they don’t feel satisfied about that? We want the best for our customers hence the experts we hire are categorised into hair experts, face experts, and body experts, means they really focus on what they’re good at. So, it is not problem if we don’t have various products from various brands. As long as we have products for specific usage, the experts would handle it with no worries. We won’t be risking our company name too by hiring experts.
Tiara         : I have an idea from both your ideas. Well, I reckon it will turn out great.
Diaz         : What it is?
Tiara         : How about combining those ideas?
Diaz         : What do you mean? We can’t afford to do them both since we have a budget.
Tiara         : Various products will be more benefecial for our income, but hiring beauty experts means better customer service and that’s our main goal. For the products, we need to find first hand supplier so the prices will be much cheaper than if we buy it from the market. And for beauty experts, we could hire a group of really talented experts so they could train our staffs. The staffs will get new experience and so we can cut down the budget without risking our customers end up dissapointed. If we ever have dissatisfied customers, we have the experts to handle them.
Diaz         : That’s a great idea. To sum up, we are combining between beuty expert and adding various product. We hire only a group of beauty expert, not many, they will train our staffs and the staffs will get new experiences. That’s all for todays meeting.
